The reconstruction and modernization of the sewage treatment plant in Damnica, located in the Pomeranian Voivodeship of Poland, represents a significant advancement in environmental engineering. Utilizing THOMAGREEN, a low-carbon concrete, the project overseen by MELBUD S.A. has achieved a substantial volume of 798 cubic meters. Remarkably, this initiative has resulted in a 62% reduction in CO2 emissions compared to Ordinary Portland Cement (OPC CEM I 42,5), which is a testament to the effectiveness of modern materials and technologies in creating more sustainable infrastructure. This project not only demonstrates the potential for significant environmental impact through innovative construction practices but also sets a precedent for future developments in the region and beyond.
